1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced pickles
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (additional)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
Ketchup for garnishing
Mustard for garnishing
Diced tomatoes for garnishing
Shredded lettuce for garnishing
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the frozen tater tots according to the package instructions until crispy and golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Once cooked, mash the tater tots in a large bowl and stir in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Mold the mashed tater tot mixture into cone shapes, about 5-6 inches tall, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the tater cones for about 15 minutes, until slightly crispy and golden.
While the cones are baking, cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add diced pickles, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and additional shredded cheese to the beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
Stuff each tater cone with the cheeseburger filling, packing it down gently.
Return the st■ cones to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the filling is hot and the tops are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and garnish with ketchup, mustard, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce before serving.
