Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a delightful, healthy treat perfect for those warm summer days or as an afternoon snack. These bite-sized snacks blend the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the creaminess of yogurt, making them an enticing option for both kids and adults. Not only are they easy to prepare, but they also offer a guilt-free indulgence that’s packed with nutrition.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, adjusted to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 cup granola or crushed nuts (for added crunch, optional)
Shredded coconut (unsweetened, optional)
Chocolate chips (dark or dairy-free, optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Strawberries: Start by washing the fresh strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Remove the green tops and slice each strawberry in half. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess water.
Mix the Yogurt: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Coat the Strawberries: Take each strawberry half and dip it into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the yogurt-covered strawberries onto the parchment paper, leaving a little space between each piece.
Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt has frozen solid and the strawberries are firm.
Store and Serve: Once frozen, carefully transfer the clusters into an airtight container for storage. Enjoy them as a refreshing snack or dessert straight out of the freezer!
