1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 cups cooked rice
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, sliced thinly
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Add minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Add broccoli florets and sliced carrots to the skillet. Cover to steam for 3-5 minutes.
