Ingredients
Scale:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm water (110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup cooked chicken, diced
6 slices crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup ranch dressing
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture along with the olive oil. Stir until the ingredients begin to come together.
Transfer the mixture to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Cook the chicken; seasoned grilled chicken works best, and crumble the bacon after cooking until crispy.
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a greased pizza stone or baking sheet.
Evenly spread the ranch dressing over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Layer the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on top. Finish with garlic powder and oregano.
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
