A satisfying and flavorful meal that fits perfectly within your low carb lifestyle, featuring juicy steak bites in a rich garlic butter sauce paired with sautéed zucchini.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
1 tablespoon olive oil for zucchini
Salt and pepper to taste for zucchini
Instructions
Season the cubed sirloin steak generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add the butter and let it melt completely. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute.
In another skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced zucchini and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender.
Plate the garlic butter steak bites alongside the sautéed zucchini and drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
